What you are supporting?
“I am a composer. A musician’s composer. A civil servant, if you will.”
What my education has taught me is that I have artistic curiosities both musical and conceptual that deserve to be explored for I am an artist with my own individuality and creative voice that is constantly growing.
What my career has been showing me is that I collaborate with other artists, organizations, and institutions where some of their curiosities and needs do not always align with mine.
While my musical and conceptual interests are vast on the spectrum, I believe compromise is essential to building a sustainable career in the arts. Not every project will satisfy every aspect of my musical interests, but it is important that it satisfies some.
